ONLY THE ANTARCTIC IS LARGER. BUT THAT’S NOT A WAREHOUSE.

Stock management

Whether distribution warehouse or store: all food has a place on our premises.(!) Frozen, cooled and dry.

We are constantly growing with our customers: as far as both tasks and storage capacities are concerned. For this reason, we spatially and technically expanded our frozen food distribution centre in Asten near Linz/Austria not that long ago. Overall, we have doubled our capacities in order to have the necessary space available to deal with the growing requirements and demands of our customers. At the same time, we have also invested in state-of-the-art control systems and environmentally friendly refrigeration technology.

Be honest: sometimes it’s hard to keep tabs on what’s in your own fridge. Just imagine what it means to manage an enormous cold storage room! We rise to this challenge day in, day out: no matter whether seasonal products need to be put into storage quickly or we need room for special offers – we find the right space for everything.

In concrete terms, this means that our employees have to make sensible use of every single one of the 15,000 pallet storing positions available, while keeping track of the different goods and orders. The Daily team is supported by state-of-the-art safety concepts and early warning systems so that system malfunctions are recognised immediately. Alongside the semi-automated warehouse for retailers, wholesalers and bulk consumers there is also a manual warehouse available. This is used to stock job lot production, store raw materials and for transport purposes. All goods are cooled by a high-performance, eco-friendly cooling system which more than meets the strict requirements of the EU thanks to the use of the natural refrigerants ammoniac and CO2.
